Hi everyone,

I try to build a simple app for a PoC to scan a barcode in PDF_417 format, but when capture and show the value, data is not readable (see Attachments). I dont find documentation or tutorials for this format type, so any can help me to understand how it will work this barcode type and how can split the data.

Do you have your barcode scanner control set to PDF417? Doing a quick test with a barcode scanner set to PDF417 using the barcode on the back of my driver's licence everything turned out fine.

Yes, i set this type in advanced feature and show the value in label with the function BarcodeScanner2.Value

You may have a problem with your barcode. Have you tried multiple barcodes? I have a sample app put together here that deals with PDF417 barcodes (drivers license barcodes). You can try it out and see if it works.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I tried scan the barcode that you share me in the URL and work fine in my app. I tried scan multiple barcode of id document of my country and i have the same problem, but i try with my driver license and the app work fine, so i guess the problem is the barcode of id document.

Good day, In my country, Colombia, the citizenship card and the driver’s license have code PDF417. Develop a PowerApps to read these codes and bring me driving license information but not citizenship card information. Any other PDF417 code (for example from the internet) reads it without any problem. I can’t find any documentation on this either. I wanted to know if you could solve this problem and give me some guidance. Thank you.
