App Insights for model driven apps to external instance?

I've played with the Environment - Analytics - Export Data to App Insights.

However this exports the telemetry to an App Insights instances in the local hosting tenant.

Has anyone came across a way to export to an App Insights instance in an External tenant.

Thinking in terms of ISVs trying to gather telemetry on usage/failures/performance of its model driven app that is installed on multiple customer tenants? Ideal solution would be app insights telemetry coming from customers tenants directly into App Insights located in ISV's tenant.

Yeah, that's definitely not how it's designed to work. BUT, as an ISV you could talk to your customer about Lighthouse. Once configured, It could enable you to see the App Insights in their tenant from within your own.

@cchannon thanks for the pointer - Lighthouse is definitely an option to investigate - but far from ideal.
