Hi all, hope you are fine!

I was trying to do an app with an specific function but im little lost at this point...

I would like to automate the following window in such a way that instead of selecting option by option, with which you select the team name, it will show you the following data automatically

- Encargado (Lead)
- Proyecto (Proyect)
-Turno (Shift)

All these values are saved in Sharepoint list in lookUp colums which call the values of the other lists depending on what we select

    Hola en México!

Are you stating that you are not seeing the values in your dropdowns (are they dropdowns or comboboxes?) that are in the underlying record of the data?

If this is a form, when you added though fields to the form, it should have wired all that for you.  Did you make changes to the form?

If so, what are your Items properties on the controls, and the DefaultSelectedItems properties?

    Hi @RandyHayes

My bad, I committed some errors at the moment to describe the topic

    1- They are ComboBoxes
2- All the values are available to select in each ComboBox, so there is no issue with it. But i think its easer for the users that they only select the name of the team and all other values appears according to the selected value.

I was thinking to use a Gallery to retieve the info of the team selected, but im not sure how can retrieve the data , it will be with a formula or another procedure?

    No worries...

So, no need for a Gallery for this.  The questions I have though -

    1) your form...what datasource is it connected to?

    2) Your Comboboxes - what is the items properties of those controls and also the DefaultSelectedItems properties?

What you want to do is all very possible, but in order to do it, especially with comboboxes, we need to match record schemas in them.  So, the questions above will be essential to that.

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Have you solved your problem?

Do you want to populate all the Combo Box based on the selected team?

Could you please tell me how you set the Item of the Form?

I am confused that we always refer to "ThisItem." specify the item value in a record, which means that every control will be populated based on the specified record by setting the Item property of the Form.

I have a test on my side, please take a try as below.

    1) Add a Gallery and set Items:

    YourSPlistName

    2) Set the Item property of the Form as below:

    Gallery1.Selected

Check if the control has been populated.

    Regards,

    Qi
