Images Dynamically Referenced in Powerapps

Hi Everyone,

We are currently building an app where students can input their printing code (string of numbers) and that it allows the teacher on lunch duty if they are allowed for 'Priority Lunch', all is working great apart from images and showing the student's photo.

There are around 600 students that are currently in the SharePoint list which has all details like their printing number, whether they are eligible, admission number, etc. It also has a hyperlink/picture column linking to their picture in a SharePoint document library.

I have tested and researched and I am aware this will struggle due to PowerApps and SharePoint not integrating great with authentication, etc. I also tried to import all 600 images to Powerapps Media which the photo's names being each student's admission number so I could easily reference them with the list, however the image control is having a problem with referencing each photo dynamically?

If anyone has a any ideas which could help us solve this problem as this is the last step before it hopefully being trialed at the end of this week in house!

Thanks,

Matt

If it is just one image per line (I think I understood that correctly)...or only a few at least... I would suggest you simply put the photo in the attachment column of the SharePoint list item. Then you could have them display in a gallery, form..and do a lot with it pretty easily.

I agree with @rebeccas you should be using SharePoint list item attachments. PowerApps and SharePoint play very nicely together when using attachments in my experience.
