Two part question - CDS, changing the Primary column AND referencing a "cell" from a CDS table to a text label in PA maker

Hello all,

 

I have a 2 part question, that I hope is an easy one that doesn't have an existing answer that I could find.

 

1) Is there a way to change the default column in a CDS table, without potentially having to re-create it?

2) In tables created within CDS, is there a way to reference a "cell", in a Canvas app text label?

    @WABGOR_Dave ,

     

    1. It is not possible to change the Primary Name column after the Table has been created. You do however have the option to adjust some settings, such renaming the Display Name, or change the data type to auto number.

    2. You cannot directly reference a Cell reference like in Excel, but you can leverage the Lookup or Filter functions to return a specific output of a field based on specific criteria
