I created CDS table and now I am trying to populate it from Excel sheet. I am getting above error after a long while seeing importing message. what I could be missing? I do not have any unique column, so I created serial numbers in Excel and I am mapping name to that column in excel.

is there log or something? how to resolve this?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Since "Get Data from Excel" actually generates a Dataflow, to see more details on the error, in make.powerapps.com, go to:

    1. Data --> Dataflows, find the Dataflows you created from the Excel
    2. Click the little yellow warning icon next to the Last Refresh date

    3. Although not super detailed, you will be able able to see a little more details which might give you a hint.  Please share the error message in case we can help.

    Thanks

    Hello @Anonymous

This seems to be quite a common scenario, however, the causes could be different depending on the actions that you are trying to do, so, how exactly are you trying to import this data into the CDS? Are you using the Import "Get Data from Excel" or "PowerQuery" for that?

I found another reference from the communities where there are other users that faced similar issues and their resolution, I hope that it can be helpful for you as well: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Common-Data-Service-for-Apps/Failure-when-importing-data-to-entity-using-Get-Data-from-Excel/td-p/239613

    Thanks.
