Custom Connector to Connect to Google Analytics API

I am very new to API connections and I learned that  MS Flow does not have integration to Google Analytics. Has anyone successfully connected to Google Analytics API to get reporting data and saving it as a table? Is a custom connector the right way to do this? For those successful may I know a step by step guide?

    Yes, you need a custom connector.
     
    A custom connector is, in essence, a pre-configuration of methods to an api (get, post, etc).
