Hi All,

I have a PowerApps which uses Dataverse as a backend data source.

Currently its live with approx. 7000 records.

Now, I need to switch my app DataSource & connection from Dataverse to SharePoint along with the data migration.

What is the best way to achieve this & what is the step-by-step process.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

Hello, @DGarg14, You can Export those Dataverse tables to Excel and then Import them into SharePoint Lists.

@AhmedSalih Thanks for the quick response.

How column mappings can be done while importing?

Specifically for 'created by' column how to map that with sharepoint column & how can we get the legacy data?

Also, how this activity could be planned as its live so number of records are increasing. Also is there any list threshold limit for large data in Sharepoint?

And In PowerApps,I believe once Sharepoint list is ready, all I need to do is remove the existing dataverse connection from the app & add this new list connection & datasource. Is there any other change needs to be done in Powerapps or what are the common issues which can occur after changing connection?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many Thanks in advance!!!

    Hello,
Did you manage to execute your solution, I have the same challenge now where im migrating from dataverse to sharepoint lists, I have around 30 Dataverse custom tables that I need to migrate to SharePoint, with a total of about 10.000 rows and two tables have write back functions from Power Apps, meaning the data in them will increase as well. Can you tell me how you managed to solve this?
