How to refer image in web-template through visual code

Hi,

tried referring an uploaded image in web-template but its not showing up in a page, did cache refresh in browser still doesn't show up, is my reference path right?, or am i missing something,

and do i need to use only .png images in web templates, do other formats like .gif and .jpeg allowed?

Try this way

In portal management:

1. Under Content Web Files > Hit New

2. Provide the name

3. Make sure your parent page is set to "Home"

4. Enter the partial URL just like the Name field.

To refer the image in the web template or in your HTML . Below is the reference

Either you can do an absolute path like my screenshot or do a relative path like "\image.jpg"

Note: Any image file formats are allowed

Thanks for the response, but found the solution by trail and error approach, appreciate your help, accepted your answer
