Filter Query not finding default value of SP choice column

Hello,

I am trying to setup a Get Items filter query on the default value of a choice column.

I get results when I try filtering on any of the other choices but cannot get results when I try "waiting feedback", the default text value of this column. This default value is populated any time a new record is added to this SharePoint list.

Is there a specific syntax I should be using when it pertains to looking up a default value of a choice column?

Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is correct. Could not find once instance of this waiting feedback being used.

In my previous post where I provided a snippet of the value showing in the output, I got this when I filtered on a different column value.

This is why I am wondering if the fact this "waiting feedback" being a default value of the list has anything to do with this problem. Again, any other of the choice values, I can filter query on and get results.

    Hi @Scribbler

So you are saying that without filter ODATA query, you are not finding any records which is having column value as waiting feedback ?

I tried this suggestion. Strangely enough, in the entire output, (and this is a large output with a lot of records) I could not find one single instance of this "waiting feedback" value being used. Tried doing Find throughout the output, tried pasting the output to notepad and doing a find there, and could not find this value.

However, if I go to the SharePoint list, there are currently 5 records with this value in the Agent Feedback column.

I had a similar thought earlier and ran the Get Items and filtered on a different value from a separate column. In the output it showed this:

I actually have this column name value already. It is showing currently in one of the screenshots I provided. The column name value is "Agent_x0020_Feedback".

I am able to filter query successfully on the other choices showing in the screenshot I provided list settings edit view of the column, but not this default value of "waiting feedback".

A better way is to open the list settings and hover over the column hyperlink. The url popup will tell you the column value.

    Hi @Scribbler

Do one thing, run the get items without filter query when the default value is present in sharepoint list

Then see the result of that choice  column value, see what is its value
