Couldn't download - No file

Hello all,

I am building a canvas app with a custom form. one of the elements of the form is an attachment control (copied from a default form) allowing the user to upload a file and save it to a dataverse table. Uploading the file seems to work, but downloading it through the app doesn't, I get error "Couldn't download - No file" in my downloads (but the file name appears correctly). People have suggested disabling new PowerFx formula bar/enabling legacy formula bar but I do not see this setting anywhere. What can I do to fix this?

My FileUpload column looks like this after uploading a document (last column):

Sometimes, the file isnt uploaded correctly for some reason and I see "Untitled.txt" in the attachment control after submitting:
 but often times its correct:

This line is in my forms submit onselect button (in my working patch method):
'FileUpload':{FileName:First(DataCardValue6_1.Attachments).Name, Value:First(DataCardValue6_1.Attachments).Value}

  Any help to fix downloads would be appreciated!!! Thank you

    I believe the column which you consuming is file type column. If yes follow the below article will resolve your issue.

    @MS.Ragavendar Thanks for your answer. It is indeed a file type column. However, I want to have one control on my page to upload documents and download them from the same place. I don't want to have a seperate button to download, and the file to download would depend on what item/row the user is looking at. Is this possible?

    You use the Form control in Power Apps using that you can achieve.

    Only thing which you to need to restrict is based on the Mode you need to play the logic accordingly.

    1. NewForm
    2. Edit Form You have to set as EditForm(formname) and Item Property you have to provide the selected Item ID.

    I dont understand. Currently, I am using an attachment control copied from a form control, but i get the error when i download. what do i need to do different? i dont have a form component in my page, i made my own custom form with textfields, and i put the code from my post inside the button to submit/update an item. the same form is being used to create, view, and update a row in my dataverse table, so i want the attachment control to upload and download. What do i need to do?

    You said that you copied the control from another form?
    Show the properties of the control and the design space.
