Hello, from the below screencaps, you'll see that I am trying to delete an unwanted table. This table was previously used in a small test MDA. I deleted that solution. Now I am trying to delete the tables related to that solution. But I am getting the errors as seen below. Can anyone advise how do I get these unwanted tables deleted?
Just adding to the removing dependencies part and the table not being listed etc, if you 'switch to classic' (being deprecated) and then look at Dependencies on the item in the classic interface, most of the dependencies are clickable making it easier to find and remove things than the new interface that is not link enabled.
or you create a new temp solution, add inside there the objects you want to modify and after you finish you delete this temp solution, or you modify directly the items inside the solution called "Default Solution" that contains all the items inside that environment
@GuidoPreite Thank you for your reply! So the question now is, where do I find/access the customizations done inside the solution that are still inside the system?
the solution (unmanaged) is only a container, if you delete a solution all the customizations done inside the solution (unmanaged) will still be inside the system.
From your screenshot the view name is "Active Clients" so I suppose you have a table called "Client" with a view called "Active Clients" and inside this view you have a reference to "Address"
The second object name is "Information", the error doesn't display the table name but is not the "Address" form, because you have already a reference inside "Active Clients" I suppose the form is also the one of "Client" table as well.
@GuidoPreite Yes, hello. Sorry my reply above was not very clear. There is no longer any solution, MDA app, or canvas app relying on or using or referencing these two tables. There was one solution and I have deleted it.
When you say I need to remove the columns inside the "view" -- what is the "view" you are referring to??
When you say I need to remove probably a lookup or a subgrid in the "form" -- what is the "form" you are referring to??
Thank you
I already wrote to you what needs to be done:
it means you have a relationship between Client and Address, you will need to remove first the objects (columns inside the view and probably a lookup or a subgrid in the form) and after you can delete the table
Hi @UsernameForYou ,
This might take a call to walk through... I am sending you a private message if you want to see if you can find 30 min time to review.
Can anyone solve this?
Hi @dpoggemann
I confirmed that my solution is deleted. I published all customizations from the main solutions screen/dashboard. I then try to delete the table again and get the same exact dependency errors.
Publish all customizations an see what dependencies still exist...
