Or suppose I have dropdown provinces which is multi selection, the user comes and selects 3 provinces submit the form

and on edit page how can I display the 3 selected provinces as checked

or how can I compare collection A which contains all the records and collection B which contains records from the database

how can I display collection A with default checked values which matches B records

    Hi @MJx01 ,

Could you please share more details about your scenario? Would you like to auto-check checkboxes in a Gallery under an Edit Form?

I made a demo to describe more clearly:

I have a list includes a Choices Column which allows multiple selections:

    205.png

In Power Apps, I made a Detail Screen with an Edit Form and a Gallery. The Edit Form shows the item selected from a Gallery which with Items of the list. The Gallery under the Edit Form, with Items of a collection that is Choices(Test13.choice1), shows all items in the Choices column of the list. Checkboxes are in the Gallery so there are 5 check boxes in the Gallery as I pre-set 5 items in the Choices column:

Now I presume you would like to make checkboxes in the Gallery auto-checked when same value is included in the choice 1 field of the Edit Form item selected from the main Gallery.

    If true, you could:

1\ apply the collection in the checkbox gallery so it would show all selections of the choices column.

2\ set Default property of Checkbox to:

    If(Self.Text in Gallery1.Selected.choice1.Value,true,false)

Please have a try. If you are within different circumstance, please share more details about your list, columns and App layouts.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,
