Trying to understand Dataverse Enviroments

So i am just now getting started with really using Dataverse.  I have just placed around with samples, installing removing etc.  I am now looking to build something.

I have read that it is best practice to not use your default environment for organization mission or business critical apps.  To use it for team specific apps, etc.  Opps.

I have been just playing around with my default enviroment.  did think about making a sandbox or anything.  Is there any way to reset the default enviroment?  or just create a new one.  Nothing in there I need to keep just a mess id things I was playing with.

Is common data shared accross enviroments?  I mean if you building apps with the some of the base entities like accounts, contacts, user, etc. ?  is that data shared across? it seems like you would want those available to any app being made.

Anyway, just wondering the best route to clean up what I have done in default, and wondering about shared data to get an idea if I really need 1 enviroment, or multiple.

Thanks

    Hi @jefftaste

you can check out "Your essential guide to learning Dynamics 365 & PowerApps" from Dynamics Labs. It has everything a beginner needs to know. Starting from what are the modules involved, what are the types of certifications, types of Dynamics 365 consultants, etc.

    Thanks,
