I've created a powerapp off of a SharePoint list, I'm having trouble figureing out how to have my fields show when there is no option selected.

This is what my App looks like in edit mode all of the form fields are blank and visible on the right side:

But when I preview my app is shows like this:

How do I get all my fields to show?

    If you change the form's display mode to View, you can preview it, then you can just change it back to Edit.

    Edited: Sorry, I just realized you said with nothing selected... this only applies if you have an item selected in the gallery. I'm guessing this would be something related to the Item field? You probably have it coded as GalleryName.Selected? If you change the form's Item to blank and change DefaultMode to FormMode.New, you should be able to see the fields.

    This was it thank you! I've been trying settings for days!

    My previous default mode was

    default mode

    If(newMode, FormMode.New, editMode, FormMode.Edit, FormMode.View)

    Is there a way to use something similar to that so that after an update to the form in goes back to formmode.New? It defualts back to 'no item selected' again now.

    @RBettinelli What does your form's OnSuccess look like? I'm thinking you might be able to do something like this?

    UpdateContext(
        {
            CurrentItem: Self.LastSubmit,
            editMode: false,
            newMode: true
        }
    )

    If this doesn't work by itself, try also changing your form's DefaultMode to:

    If(newMode, FormMode.New, editMode, FormMode.Edit, FormMode.New)

    I'm not an expert by any means, just a lot of trial and error lol - so if both of those don't work, you might be better off opening a new thread for this question. Let me know if it works, though! 🙂
