Clone Copilot Studio Agents

Hello,
I need to have a full clone of a solution and agents in Copilot Studio.

The main goal is to keep a solution and agent as it is now. And no more updates because the solution is working well. And give a clone to the developper team to work on this clone.

I tried to do import/export solution but inside the new solution there is nothing. I can see solution exported successfully and imported successfully but when I click Edit in the cloned solution, there is nothing. No agents no apps no cards no tables.
In the actual solution , there is 56 objects : 48 components, 4 AI models, 1 Custom API, 1 agents

Hi, you cannot have the clone of the agent in the same environment. Exporting and importing the solutions will only upgrade/revert the same solution based on the version. Best solution for this would be to have a new agent and copy all the topics from the code view to the new agent. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can you need to use PAC CLI tho,

It's not like a clone but a copy which is not the same

First you need your bot template

pac copilot extract-template ` --environment 2e250e7a-5607-4fea-aa4e-1aeb7bf79118 ` --bot 9ee3f7aa-ab79-4cf6-a726-d85c8c18cc3e ` --templateFileName MainAgentTemplate.yaml

the run a Create command

pac copilot create -env 6f2a5e3c-8a9f-4a12-b7ec-3d9e249cfd4e --schemaName dev_mainbot --displayName "Main Bot Copy" --solution MySolutionName --templateFileName MainAgentTemplate.yaml

NOTE: I'm entering DUMMY values to --environment, --bot, --templateFileName, So use your own
