Hey

I have made a Component with a custom Input Property isSelected as a Boolean. I want to set this property from a another custom Property OnSelect. The OnSelect Property is a Custom Event that is triggerd when the Image onselect property is trigged inside the component.
i have uses this statement to change the isSelected Property:
component.isSelected = true
i have a Notify to check the value of component.isSelected but it is always false.
It is possoble to change the value from its own onselect event?

    Change Component Custom Input Property from itself

    In Power Apps, custom properties of components cannot directly modify themselves from within the component. This is because component properties are designed to be controlled externally, by the parent app or screen, and not internally by the component itself.
