Hi community!

I have created a SharePoint portal to represent the department I work in, and I don't intend to give edit permission to others. But I have a problem when they want to submit a form related to a list SharePoint in the site.

how can they submit and edit on the list without having a site edit access?!

Thank you

    Hey Sybaris1,

This part of Reza Dorrani's video explains what you need.

Basically you trigger a flow and can run the flow as your own user.

    Hi.

Havent seen the video or tested the way that JesseV pasted in but I've used and changed the site permissions for a Sharepoint site where only users are allowed to contribute from PowerApps but not have access to the site itself. I've tested it out with a few people and it seems that it prevents access either to the site itself or to the lists/pages that are adittional to the lading page.

I've copied the contributor-role, created a new group and named it PowerApps-access where i unselected the option "View application pages", saved it and changed the members permissions from contributor to the new group PowerApps-access. The site collection features also have to be altered where "Limited-access user permissions lockdown mode" has to be activated in order for this to work. Only site owners have full access and can edit pages/lists in this sharepoint site but you can give explicit accesses to certain people in the site. Everybody who have access to the app can read and write to the sharepoint site from powerapps from the inputfields that are allowed or inserted.
