Hi everyone,

Is it possible in an easy way to convert a Canvas App to a Custom Page?

I dont want to build my existing Canvas App again as a Custom Page, but reuse it and have it in my Model-driven app. Embedded Canvas App is NOT an option.

Thank you!

    Hi @seryil ,

Are you referring to a SharePoint integrated app - if so this blog of mine sets out the process - it is not difficult. If you are referring to converting to model-driven, it is not something possible I believe (although I am no expert on these)

    Hi @WarrenBelz,

No, I am talking about Custom Pages recently announced one year ago by Microsoft - Announcing public preview of Custom Pages for converging model-driven apps and canvas apps | Microsoft Power Apps

I have a standard Canvas App that I want to convert to a Custom Page, so that I am allowed to use it as a page inside my Model-Driven app.

    Hi @seryil ,

Sorry, I am not much help here - I do not use Model-Driven apps

@seryil - there is no quick way to convert your canvas app to a custom page, you would need to create a new custom page, copy over your controls and make the necessary modifications

It is fairly similar apart from that you would pass on your record ID using the client API. I would suggest referring to this documentation

Apart from that, custom pages are not too dissimilar from canvas apps
