I am very confused about Dataverse. It is supposedly the preferred database for Power Apps. However I cannot import Excel files into a Dataverse Solution & Table, but I can import Excel files into a SharePoint list. Is it correct to use SharePoint lists as data for Power Apps? Also, does it mean I have to manually enter all my data into Dataverse tables to build a Model Driven apps?
@Evad - you can certainly import data into Dataverse using Excel and there is more than one way to do it.

You can even bulk update Dataverse tables directly in Excel:
If you're organisation can afford the licencing fees, I would suggest Dataverse for your Power Apps. However, I have yet to come across a scenario in Dataverse that I have not been able to replicate using SharePoint Lists.
I have only two connector options on the New table from external data, Sharepoint or SQL server. My license probably doesn't support an Excel connector. I found a way around this, I create a SharePoint list from an Excel file, then I connect in Dataverse using the external Sharepoint connector. I just tested and it worked.
