Adding Application Insights as a Knowledge or Action Source for my agent

I am trying to create an agent that will make querying or asking for data easier. I want it to connect to my azure Application Insights but there seems to be no way to do this.

Has anyone tried this or been successful in doing?

Hello,

you'd need to use Log Analytics API to get the data from the log workspace attached to the application insights resource, see docs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/logs/api/overview. You can also use an out-of-the-box connector: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/azuremonitorlogs/#run-query-and-list-results to integrate.

Hi OK-23122029-0,

There are no direct method to add the Application Insights directly as Knowledge Source in Copilot Studio.

Have you tried using Power Automate flow using custom Actions in copilot studio to fetch the required details. I think there are some options to fetch the monitor logs through Power Automate.
