Error updating components library when library has modern controls

This was working yesterday. I was building my Component Library just great with the modern controls and then updating the library in my custom page. Today, when I refresh my custom page to get latest updates to the component library I am getting this error. Doesn't happen when you bring it in new, only on update. When I remove the modern controls and then turn off the preview feature for modern controls, I am able to get a successful update. I feel like I did a lot of work on my component and it has gone to pot in 1 day.

Has anyone experienced this or do you think my library is corrupted and I need to start over?

+1 following this, also experiencing the same issue as of last week. Using a component library extensively across Custom Pages to standardise design.

Can confirm Montior in Studio is not showing any hint of the error or context.

Has this been raised with Microsoft?

I raised a ticket and kind of got the run around. What I have discovered is that it is NOT related to the modern controls. I believe it is all component libraries.
So I created a nice solution demonstrating the problem and sent it to my support person. They told me I should use my own workaround (the one above where you have to remove the control and add it again) so I am not optimistic. But my support rep is gathering the other support tickets submitted regarding this issue.
However there is a similar discussion on another community link:  Updating Component Library fails: "there was a problem importing.... (null, null, null ....)  So I think there are several outstanding tickets raised with Microsoft on this front.
More is better so if you feel like it, I would submit another.

Started getting this yesterday, I deleted the component that I thought was causing the error. And it all worked again fine, until today after I did a few format changes to a different componenet in the library. Now the it's stuck, and I can't "Review" changes unless I want that error to appear 😓

I started getting this issue recently as well. Updates used to work fine but now they all fail with the error full of nulls. I haven't used any modern controls yet, though I did try turning them on/off to see if it had any effect, but no luck. I created a topic here as well:

    Update

Ive been advised a hot fix has been deployed for this issue. I will report back updating this post if it works.

Looks like that hotfix may have fixed it. I was able to successfully update at least one of my apps with no error.

Can you share if you did anything or it was fixed in its own? I received the error today and wonder what might be causing it ? Everything on my components looks fine and was working till yesterday . Thank you in advance
