Hello community,

is there a way to migrate a whole portal with all forms, views, entities and so on to another tenant?

Similar question: How to create a backup of whole portal?

I know there is a little option to backup enviroment.
And I can export/import the solution.
But that's only some parts, not the whole project.

Hi @AndKanPA ,

Using xrmtoolbox you can do migration or backup.

Nick Doelman as very good article about this. Url for your reference.

In addition you can mind some more good tools in Xrmtoolbox.

Now I found "Portal Records Mover", "Solution Import" and "Solution Tranfer Tool" in XRMToolbox ... that's the half of migrating.
They are fine an helpfull.
Many thanks to developers!

Logins didnt work 😞 because contacts are not transfered with "Portal Records Mover".

Only missing a tool to migrate all entity records into new database.
(And one tool to o all theses single steps at once would be nice 😉 )

Seems, I have to create all dataflows new?

But contacts and logins are not moved 😞

Perhaps I have to ask in Dataverse forum how to migrate the tables and records into another tenant.

Hi @AndKanPA ,

There are different tools that you can use to migrate data (and depending on amount of data that you need to migrate different things will work) - Kingswaysoft SSIS, Dataflow, Configuration Migration etc.

I think, such a tool is neccesary to backup a Dynamcis CRM enviroment too.
