Hi Beginner here 🙂

I have this form where I two of my columns are from an excel file and presented as dropdown menu in my app

1. Framework

2. Control no.

Where whatever I select in framework it will only show the control nos. affected since I made it a cascading dropdown, however when I try to submit the form all are saving except to these two columns. I don't know where is the error.

    The only important property for saving data in a form is the Update property of the card containing a control.  Check this property to make sure that the right control is referenced.  For a dropdown, it should be something like Dropdown1.Selected.Value.  Your dropdowns should have their own cards for the fields being saved.

    Hi I've tried it lets say the dropdown "Control No." its dropdown card is "Dropdown2_1". I input in the update the Dropdown2_1.Selected.Value but it shows error

    @Marktiger0205 Thank you!

    Framework datacard [Update] to be: Dropdown3_1.Selected.Result

    For Control no, I got same example here. The detail info appears when you click your Dropdown2_1.

    Now take a look at [value] being shown, please try to change [Update] property of Control no. like this:

    Dropdown2_1.Selected.Control_x0020_No_x002e_

    ps: you might need to input value yourself 🙂

    Hope it helps your problem,
