Date Picker defaulting to US format for UK users

Hello Power Platform Community,

I hope you can help please.

I've created a canvas app in Dataverse for Teams.

I have a "Date and Time" column which I am displaying on a Form.

For UK users, the date is showing as the US format. So for the 31st December 2021 it shows as 12/31/2021 rather than 31/12/2021.

Why is it showing UK people the US format? And how can I change it to show the correct format to whoever is looking at it, such as UK DD/MM/YYYY and US MM/DD/YYYY.

Note: Just for reference, to make things more complicated, on the datacard for the Date Picker in the Default property I've added the below expression. So when a new form is opened the date and time show as the last day of the previous month and the time as the last minute. So if you used the form in June the actual date will populate as 31st May 2021 at 23:59.

If(
    frmMetrics.Mode = New,
    Text(
            Date(
                     Year(Now()),
                     Month(Now()),
                    0
            ),
            "yyyy-mm-ddT23:59"
       ),
 ThisItem.'Metrics Year Month'
)

NOTE: This issue was happening previous to me adding the expression. But just wanted to mention it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Garry

    @GarryPope

    Consider setting the Language property of the datepicker to Language()

    This should put it into the proper mode each time.

    I hope this is helpful for you.

    Hello @RandyHayes,

    Thanks so much for the reply. I checked both the "Data Card" and the "Data Card Value", and neither of them have a "Language" Property.

    My Thoughts are that millions of hours are lost every year becuase for some mentally insane reason the US and MS cant arange thier baby toys in order of priority. Sick to death of it! Infects everything regardless of regional settings.

    @GarryPope did you manage to get an fix for this I am experiencing the same issue with the Modern Date Picker Control.    As @RandyHayes suggested I have changed my ContentLanguage setting to Language() and that is defaulting to en-GB.
