Using sharepoint list as a data source for Power apps.  Trying to display the value of column Part #.    The column show up as 'Part #' and states "The formula uses scope, which is not presently supported for evaluation.  The column was originally a single line of text and now has been swapped over to Choice type.   Current ThisItem.'Part #' show nothing and give above message on scope.

    Hi,

This message appear when there is a reference to a table or an item, for ex.

If you are trying to see the value of a label in a gallery, it will prompt that message, because the label refer to gallery scope.

So, if you want to see the value of a column in SharePoint I suggest creating a label and set its text as:

    LookUp(
SharePoint_List, // replace with your sharepoint list
ID = 1231 // replace with the item ID
).SharePoint_Column // Replace with the sharepoint column

    I hope it helps 🙂

Image attached show the gallery field where label with text ThisItem.'Part #'.  Nothing shows up when column type is  "Choice".  Column type is switched to Single Line of text it show correctly. The type needs to be a choice and not single line.  Also why is part # in parentheses? Still a noob here.  Tks
