Delay between chatbot messages

Hi all, Just a question about delaying a message in the chatbot. I want the bot to give information then pause for 5 seconds before asking "have I answered your question?". I have tried to create the flow but am struggling to find a way to make it work even though I am sure it is straightforward. Can anyone help me out?

    Update: I have made the delay work but not for the question have I answered your question. No matter which side of the question I put the flow, it is always the following question which gets delayed. Does anyone have an explanation?

    You can use power automate and call the flow in PVA

    Hi @nikviz 

     

    I know this is an old post but it's exactly what I'm trying to achieve. I've copied your flow but there is no delay. Forgive me as I am a novice but should I be adding an input and output to the flow?

    You have to call the Delay, by a power automate flow. 
    Do as below. 

    Click on add node between two dialog boxes where you want to introduce the delay

    Click on Call an Action then click on create flow

    Search for delay Action

    Set the delay

    Rename the flow and Save

    Come back to your flow and add it to the flow

    Yeah I've done that, I meant in the actual flow.

    However, I've since found out what is happening (although I don't know why).

    I'm using the Chatbot within Teams where the delay is not working. BUT when I try it within the PVA design program the delay works.

    Might be something I've got to live with.

    Actually now I've shut down, gone for lunch and returned it's working absolutely perfect. Just need more patience I guess.

    It takes some time to reflect in teams.. 
    Usually, what i do, when i publish or update the bot is remove the bot from my teams chat and re enter.
