I've updated the greeting message and Copilot name . For some users, the new Copilot name is reflected in the greetings, but the other updates to the greeting message are not showing.

Can someone help ?

Note: It's been two days since the update was made. We also tried using 'Start over,' but it didn't work. We attempted in incognito mode and after clearing the cache, but with no success.

Greetings not updated

Hi CU22101327-0,

I have faced a similar issue where we deployed the Copilot in teams channel. We removed the Copilot from the Teams (for the users having issue) and then Re-added back again and then issue resolved.

If you say that it is already working for few users, then the Changes are done properly.

Since you already did basic troubleshooting, please Contact Microsoft support and raise a Support Incident.

Greetings not updated

The issue has been resolved.

In my Copilot setup, the primary language is English, and the new greeting was updated in this primary language. However, for users with their browsers set to a secondary language, the greeting text did not update.

This appears to be linked to language settings in Copilot. When I switched the test language in Copilot to the secondary language, the old text still appeared.

To fix this, I downloaded the secondary language localization file for Copilot, updated the new greeting text in the file, re-uploaded it, and published the changes.

The update is now complete! 😊
