Hello,
I have this column that is of picklist type, with the following values. I have added the color.

And in the form I can see it as follows, but when I select one of the options, for example the second one, which is "Amber", the color that I had assigned to it does not appear.

How can i make the color show up?

Thank you so much.

    Hi @alandres2628 ,

This color is for showing the value with a specific color in charts, see link below:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/custom-picklists?WT.mc_id=BA-MVP-5003725#create-a-global-choice-within-a-solution

Another example using these values in a calendar:  https://www.crmheidi.com/index.php/2020/09/17/add-color-on-option-set-in-dynamics-365/

@alandres2628 If you want to use the normal optionset control you can also try below. Instead of colors you can use color emojis and keep it as text. It can render as colorful optionset.

Else you can use https://pcf.gallery/colorful-optionset/ . However the Component you are using is ( Optionset PCF Component ) which is OOTB and it uses theme color, not the option color

    Hi all,
this week I have been faced with exactly the same issue. I like @pavansarma_2301's approach of using emojis in here, because the coloured icons will appear everywhere then. So also which selection of the value in the field or even in filters they are show. But I don't know if there might be side effects like issues in (Power BI) Reporting.

So I checked for further alternatives. A developer showed me how to add JS to view. Was completely new to me, but yes this is possible. For this open the view in classic editor, select the column and chose properties.
While maker studio only allows setting column width, classic editor also allows referencing a web resource (JS) and a specific function.

As far as I understood this will link the function to the whole column - independent from the specific view. The JS itself concats a png (the coloured icon) with the display value of the optionset value.
