It takes time forever to upload file from local pc as knowledge source

Hi,

I am new for Copilot studio and I am trying to upload a pdf file(8 pages,1.4MB) from local computer as knowledge source to develop a custom agent. But its status is always showing "In progress" and never turn to be "Ready".

Does any one knows why?

Hi @LZ-24072101-0,

It's been buggy but seems to be better recently for me. Try closing the browser tab and reopening, that message doesn't see to really give the true status. In my last attempt, it was stuck on In Progress for more than 2 minutes, I closed and moved on to another task, then came back and discovered it was Ready.

hello :)

When this happen i recommand you :

Delete the knowledge source.

Create a new one with a supported document (like a word document with only "hello world" inside.)

Retry with this "hello world" :-> everything is OK now in most case (every time for me)

Next retry you r document

If still "no" probably the document is not supported or contains un supported information.

try to have another format for the document.

If still "no"

Create a new agent : very rare case but some time the agent is bug at creation.
