Power apps requiring license when not using any premium features?

I have built an app that allows users to write back data to SharePoint. The app was first built with a license to write back to Dataverse. But considering the cost, I switched the data source to SharePoint, moved the app from the created environment with the power apps per app license to the default environment, I have also removed all Power BI tiles from the app so I can avoid the license costs. 

 

But now when I play the app in the Default environment it tells me I don't have a power apps plan, even though I'm not using the Premium connector Dataverse, or Power BI tiles?

I have noticed that the default environment is located as the image below shows under "Build apps with Dataverse". Do I need to create an environment outside of this environment category to avoid it?

What am I missing?
If it's not Dataverse or Power BI tiles, what other possible features am I using that might be forcing a license to be needed?

My goal is to find out; How can I change or remove all premium features to make the app free to share and consume only using Microsoft 365 licenses?

This is the error I'm getting: User needs PowerApps Plan. The user with object identifier '5b5dab6b-8cd6-450f-86eb-9db8bd3fe8ef' in tenant xxxx' does not have an entitlement to use PowerApps.

    Hi @GwendevBI,

     

    Check the app details/settings to see if the license designation says Premium or not. If it's premium, make sure to remove any premium data sources from the app, then save and publish it and check the license designation again.

    The license designation says Standard (i) "An app that only uses standard connectors. An end user must have Power Apps included with Office 365 plan, Per App Plan, or a Per User Plan to access this app."
    The license I'm operating on is a Microsoft business basic. It should work no?

    Solution:
    Check the following - 

    • Hidden references to Dataverse that may trigger license requirement
    • Dependencies to Dataverse
    • Formulas and connections to the old Dataverse tables
      Do this by checking the search bar as seen below for any dependencies to Premium connectors with table names you've used previously.

    • Settings of the app  for license designation. you check this in Details under app settings it should say this:
      (If it says premium your app is using functions or connectors that require a license)

    • Check other premium functions within the app like Power BI tiles that you need to remove for the application to be accessed under the Microsoft 365 license
    • Lastly and what worked for me go into admin center and check for all accesses under the following breadcrumbs. When a user is added they don't automatically get the Microsoft 365 License and this needs to be activated.
      • Users> Active Users> Jon Doe> Licenses and apps > Microsoft 365
