Document a Power App

Is there a way to export the data from a PowerApp so that you can see a list of all the fields used with their properties. I have tried to export and managed to get a document.msapp  file but I can't get that to open in Windows.

I agree. I've been using this tool for some years now and can highly recommend Rene Modery's PowerDocu for doing exactly this. You feed it the msapp file and you get a folder with several files that document the contents of the app.

You can rename msapp file to zip and open it. You'll need to be familiar with Json file format inside it
