Protecting Sharepoint Website with password but make lists on the website accsessable to PowerApps

Hello everybody,
I have a question about protecting areas of a website or an entire website in Sharepoint Online.

Here is my problem:

Our different employees add records with a Microsoft Powerapp to different lists that are located on the respective Sharepoint site. While employees are able to add records to these lists and read only the records they created themselves using the PowerApp (I used the FILTER() function), employees could still theoretically read all records on each list by logging in to SharePoint Online.

The requirement is that only certain employees have the right to read and edit all records in each list. The other employees should either not have access to these pages or should only be able to read the records they have created themselves (as I did in the Powerapp via the filter function).

Has anyone ever dealt with such a problem and can help me ?

Many thanks in advance.

    Hi @KChristoph,

First of all, please understand that PowerApps only inherit the permission setting of data sources. That is to say, if you users cannot edit/read the items from SharePoint side, then he won't be able to do the same in PowerApps.

If you only want the users to be able to read the records they have created themselves and not able to create or edit the items, then navigate to List settings > Advances settings and have below checkboxes checked:
