User().Email on command power button using powerfx

Hi All,

I put

User().Email = "myorgemail"

into the visibility of a command bar button, but I only ever see the button appear in the editor. Am I using this function incorrectly on the command button?

Let me know,

Thanks

    Hi,

    Try using with Lower function

    Lower(User().Email) = Lower("myorgemail")

    Unfortunately, this is not working. I'm a bit confused, even when looking at the User() record in the component library I get a blank record, but my canvas apps / page apps work fine. @NandiniBhagya20 perhaps it's my component library? Some quick searches don't really show this working well for anyone at the moment...

    @dlprentice, I know it's an old post but did you ever get it working? I'm facing the same issue now and I have a feeling User() is just not working with command bar though it doesn't give you any errors when you reference it.

    @Tony_Suslovich User() is still an unsupported function per the documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/commanding-use-powerfx
