Hello,

My company has had problems recently with people leaving which is causing a headache with broken automation in both flows and apps. I am looking into creating service accounts and wondering if anyone has insight on how they should be configured/used. Below are the questions I have

Will adding MFA to a service account cause issues with connections in flows and power apps. Lets say an owner of the account gets an MFA notification while out, does that mean all of the connections in flows will lock up?
Should these apps be used as "Development Accounts" meaning that all development is done while signed in to these or is it sufficient to just have them be co-owners of applications/flows.

Hi @mrt123545 ,

Once the Flow connection is established and remains valid, login is not required, so 2FA is irrelevant.

I use my Service Account as the "development" owner, however there are other co-owners for redundancy.

Thanks for your reply warren! Just looking on some clarification on a couple things,

So if I have an account that has already has flows and connections setup, and then I introduce MFA, will the connections break? Also company policy is that every account needs to be re-signed into via MFA every 3 weeks, would that break connections?

Not to my experience - once the connection is established and validated, it will run unless the account becomes invalid.
