Combobox selected value disappearing after submitting form

hi,
I am using a SharePoint Power Apps Form
 
the value of my combo box disappear after i submit the form (however the value is saved in my SharePoint List successfully).

I am trying to update my list called "Change Request" and using my Combo box to search and find values of a column in another list "User Profile"
 
Items property -  
Distinct('User Profile', 'User Name')

Default property - blank
 
Defaultselecteditems property - blank

Update property on my datacard - Combobox.Selected.Value

please help a brotha out!

    Is the combobox the only field reseting?

    @StretchFredrik Yes the other fields are saving correctly. The combobox value is saved in the SP list aswell. But the form it is resetting.

    As your form is getting reset after submit , you need to have defaultselecteditems populated to display it even after reset. 
    Try something like ,
     
    LookUp(Distinct('User Profile', 'User Name'), Result = ThisItem.'User Name')

    Hi, 
    Is your form in Update Mode or New Mode ?
     
    Also try to show SP value with a lookup on the default property. 
     
    Normally the defaultselectedItem property must contains a default value which is most of the time thisItem.ColumnName. the ColumnName is the SharePoint Column that contains the value you want to show.

    The piece of information missing here is the name and type of the field you are writing to/reading from. For the example below, I will use a Single Line of Text field called UserName - the code will be different for a different field type. The DefaultSelectedItems would be
    {Value: ThisItem.UserName}
