Where is User Settings?

I am to change a user's time zone. It appears the local time is set in a table called User Settings. I cannot find this in my tables list (make.powerapps.com > Data > Tables) so I am assuming it has some special behavior.

Where would I go to edit data in this table to change the time zone?

    Re: Where is User Settings?

Just for others who may have a similar issue, User Settings has never been exposed in CRM as an Entity/Table, and TimeZone is initially set by the system based on the location of the Application Servers the Instance is in (it really should now be a setting at the User level in O365 / AAD - but its not).

However, it can be updated in a number of ways:

    • by the User, from the Personalization Settings option under the Cog in the top banner.
    • using a user settings add-in/plugin in XRMToolBox a free utility with community input (this plugin is really good for doing bulk updates).  Alternatively, you could write your own code to make such updates.
    • Power Automate / Flow, the User Settings entity is exposed in Flow e.g. you can trigger a Flow on create of Users (i.e. when the user is initially pushed into the instance) and then update User Settings in a subsequent Step. i.e. you can setup a flow to automatically set timezone (and other personal settings) whenever a new user is added to the instance.

I was not able to find User Settings but I did figure out how to change my time zone:

    1. Open a model driven app
    2. Click settings cog in suite bar, choose Personalization Settings
    3. In General tab, there is a Time Zone dropdown list in the Set the time zone you are in section
