How to Refer Microsoft 365 group in Dataverse table?

Hi,

I have created 3 Microsoft 365 groups in Azure AD and I have a Dataverse table called Task.

For each row in the task table I should be able to select a Microsoft 365 group (Lookup Field).

I am looking for a way on how to establish relationship.

Is there any way to achieve this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Anonymous ,

There is the ability to create "group teams" which integrate Azure Active Directory Groups with Teams in Dataverse (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-group-teams).  This is really an integration to help dynamically manage assignment of users through Azure AD to Teams and then assigning roles to the Teams for particular access within Dataverse.

You can then assign the "Owner" of the task to the Team from an assignment perspective and it would be assigned to that group of users to complete.  Is this what you are trying to do or something different where you just need the group as a lookup value?

    Hi @dpoggemann

We are working on a requirement where the user should be able to select a AAD group(s) from the dropdown in Canvas App for each record and save the settings. when this record is processed, all the users in AAD group will receive an email/approval to be completed.

How can we save the AAD group or multiple groups for each record in the dataverse table? is there any object id available or using any connector?
