Canvas app won't update

Hi all,

I have a tablet form canvas app which I am using in Android. I have built in a Dev environment then exported through a managed solution to UAT for business testing.

My problem is that having made some fixes in response to testing, republished, and exported up to UAT as an upgrade to the managed solution, nothing changes. The app says it has an upgrade, and I click to reload. It goes back to the PowerApps home page, reopen the app... and it's exactly the same.

My changes were subtle and I thought perhaps I was wrong so I put a big image in the homepage and exported that, and as above it noticed the version change but did not actually load the updated app.

Any ideas?

Have you tried clicking user image in upper left corner of powerapps home screen, then selecting clear cache? Pretty sure that would force app to update to latest version.

Also might check the app info from studio, and ensure latest version is live and it didn't somehow end up staying with an old version as the live

Thank you Rob.

It turned out that somewhere along the line there were two different versions of the app - the one inside the Solution and another one outside it. Since I created the app inside the solution to start with, I don't really understand how that can be, but that was the cause.
