share canvas app and it's resources with organization

What is the correct way to share a canvas app with organization? How do i know which part of app are not shared with user when i share only the app?

Let's say i have a canvas app that is sitting in a separate environment, is a part of a sollution, as a datasource has sharepoint site and uses some attached flows? How do i share the app so it works correctly for user?

Hi @jja ,

There are only 3 elements here

The app needs to be shared with the User, or a Security Group the user is a member of

The SharePoint list also needs to be shared the same

The Group needs permissions to access the environment

I see i have added the user group as a security group to environment but user's don't see this environment. Isn't that enough?

If you have also shared the app and SharePoint list with the Group, it should work.

Yes they are able to launch the app through the link they received but the app is not present when they go to powerapps/Apps section because they get themselves into wrong environment and can't see that environment

If they can launch form the link, that is good. If they cannot see the environment in their list choices at top right (I have seen this before), they may have to shortcut the link in their favourites.

Could you give a little hint what you mean by adding a link in favourites? is that somewhere in M365 or other place?

I mean save the URL of the App in their browser favourite bar at the top.
