Hi,
I used the "MailNickname" field from office365users to get the employee ID. Most of the user accounts has number (i.e. employee ID) in the "MailNickname". However there are some employee having text value (e.g. Tracy.Chen) in the "MailNickname" field. I checked Tracy office alias, it is employee ID instead of text. Can anyone advise why this happen ? Thanks!

it is fixed due to Alias synchronize issue in Azure AD.
