I have created a form in my power app. First page I have 2 combobox to select a name. The next page is the form that gets autofilled from that name selection. After I submit the form and get the deep link in my email, it shows data from the first name on that list, not the name that was selected. Is there something in the datacard or datacardvalue that needs to be checked? maybe its a onchange or onselect that needs changed? attached are a couple pictures...let me know if you would like to see more data.
Hi @Anonymous ,
When you say the wrong data, are you saying the deeplink has the wrong data, or it has the right data but the OnStart and StartScreen aren't working as they should?
In case the deeplink doesn't have the right data, can you share how the deeplink is created?
on first page i have a combobox with Onchange as Lookup(db, name = combobox.selected.name)) then on next page on form, i have datacardvalue default set as combobox.selected.name. The data looks fine when i submit the form, i check the dataverse and the correct data is in. but when i get the deep link and click on it, it opens the form with the wrong data.....
So how is your deeplink created? Please share some examples of what you receive vs what zou expect to receive.
It is on StartScreen and OnStart
on first page I select a Name, then second page that auto fills in a couple other datacards, but after its submitted and i click the deep link to view or edit it, it shows first name on the list of employees NOT the name that I selected....
When submitting your form, is it saving the data correctly to the data source? Just to rule out a data issue...
Yes the data is correctly saving to the dataverse.
I am still getting same error when I click on the deep link.....
Can you please share the deeplink that is not working and the error you receive?
This is the StartScreen,
here is the OnStart
This is not the information I asked for.
Can you please share an example of a deeplink that isn't working, specifically the &ID=################### part.
In case you a referring to the message "you are using one or more shared connections" as an error, it is not. This means that you are using someone else's credentials to access Dataverse. It is not an error. Apart from this I don't see anything else that may be perceived as an error in what you shared.
