How to add dropdown in power apps

I have a requirement. I have created a form using canvas. my requirement is i want to create a dropwon filter . we have a tasks with pending and completed and when i select completed from dropdown my form should only show tasks with completed status and same thing for pending status. when i selected pending from dropdown my form should only show tasks with pending status. I am new to power apps and I am kinda stuck here

hey @rohanb_3050

do you mean gallery instead of form? a form can only show 1 item of a list. a gallery can show multiple items. Also the gallery can be filtered by a dropdown like u mentioned above

this is an approach that works for the Items property of the gallery

Filter(DataSource, Status = Dropdown1.Selected.Value)

be aware to rename Datasource and the column here called Status and the Dropdown to the name of your column

MIne is not gallery. only form. Below is my form and want to seperate filter with dropdown and in that drop down i want to add pending and completed. when i select completed my form should only filter task with completed and same thing with pending tasks.

example. i have 3 fields with drop down

field one i selected completed
field 2 i selected pending
field 3 i selected completed

I want to have a seperate dropdown filter with pending and completed. when i select completed I want my form to show only completed tasks only

As far as i understand u u need a gallery because as mentioned a form only holds 1 item and uncan not show multiple tasks in one form if they are different items

Hi

I'm not sure if it possible to display multiple records in a form, I know you might have made progress using a form but like @mmbr1606 has suggested, take your time and use a gallery instead.

You can keep the form and navigate from thr gallery to the form if you need to make modifications to your existing tasks. Inserting a gallery is just an effort of 5 max 10 minutes with the filtering
