Good morning beautiful people,
I am building a copilot that uses generative AI to answer questions. I wanted to use a public data source with bing search (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/nlu-generative-answers-bing ) and I was wondering if there are additional costs (it seems the bing search API is not free, the price is per search but how many searches is my copilot doing ?).
Could anyone give me an example of pricing (questions asked / answers + price of the whole transaction).
Hi @citron-truc
I found some information about the sessions and what counts towards GenAI:
Based on this information. Microsoft Copilot Studio's licensing includes 25,000 messages per tenant each month.
Regular messages are counted as one, while Generative AI (Gen AI) messages, like those using Bing Search, count as two.
When Gen AI is used in responses, it's billed as two messages per interaction. For instance, if a user asks the copilot a question and it responds using Gen AI, this counts as two billed messages.
This system allows for a mix of regular and Gen AI messages under the monthly quota.
