On my lesson 6 of module 2 of my canvas power up course where we are to connect checkout screen to the app, i am having two issues;

Navigate and NewForm are behavioral function, they can't be put on Tooltip property, please remove them.
It seems that you are using combo box on the Check-out screen. Does your question is combo box shows empty when you select it?
Please provide the formula on Items property of combo box and type of column.
If there is no error with formula, I recommend you check the display field of combo box. The combo box may be using empty column or can't displayed column (column with specific type) as display field, you can try to select another column.

Thank you for your time Rimmon, @v-mengmli-msft i have checked my solutions and i noticed a couple of things (sorry if this is taking your time).
For this drop down, the formula is "Select a student" which would show a drop down of students, same as the pane for books, the formula is "Select a book" which should show a drop down of books. following the lecture notes, i did the exact same thing and mine isn't showing when i run the app.
for the newform and navigation, i took the formula out of the tooltip pane and inserted it in the "on select" pane, the formula at the top still shows the tool tip section not the formula for the the "on select" pane.
What is Items of Student drop down?
