Edit form not showing dropdown when linked to sharepoint.

Hi There,

I am new to powerapps and trying to build my first app. I have created a SP list to be used as data storage for the powerapp inputs. When i added the "Edit form" and linked it to the SP list it brought up the fields but it's not showing any properties of it. The person field, is not searching for anyone in my network. The choice questions are not showing the dropdowns as listed in the SP.

I am attaching the images if so anyone can help.

Which exact fields (please identify them in your picture)

Show us the Default property value for all of them

So Default or DefaultSelectedItems, or Text etc

Choice Fields don't specifically just dhow everything. It shows the value of whatever record you have loaded. If you want the dropdown to have the choices in it, you need to set the Items property to the Choices, then set the Default property to the value of the current record and so on

Hi Mike,

As i mentioned, these are the fields. The technologist and Requestor/Client are Person or group field. Category is the dropdown. Rest are text/dates which are working ok. Technologist is not showing any list of people in the network and Category is simply showing item 1,item 2.... etc. There are only 7 choices i have added in the drop down in SP.

In the defaults for all the data card there is no query added.

And how the form works in the preview mode or in play.

The list of people from my network is not showing up.

Drop down appears in blank.

I tried multiple things like, i have a working form which i duplicated and changed the data, deleted the form and added a new form and linked to data. Created a new page itself and added a brand new form but all of these attempts were unsuccessful.
