Hi,

When I install the service desk template I cant seem to find the excel file or any reference to it.

Websites I have found refer to the change button for some reason I dont get the possibility to do this it doesnt appear.

Where can I find the necessary excel files. It would be a shame to have t reinvent the wheel.

Thanks in advance for any help

Mark

    Hi @Spark ,

    Do you create an app based on the "Service Desk" template app?

    Actually, it is an known issue with template app in PowerApps. Recently, there are some updates on template app in PowerApps, it would not store the built-in business data within the Excel table hosted in your OneDrive folder (called "PowerApps"), instead, it import built-in business data using the "Import from Excel" connector as below:

    Within the tempate app, you could only see these pre-loaded business data, but you could not find where these business data are stored.

    The user @Dee1 has faced similar issue with you, please check my response within the following thread:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Portals/Leave-Request-PowerApp-no-Option-to-Create-Excel-Data-Sheet-in/m-p/413954

    In addition, the "Make own app" option has been remove from template apps in PowerApps. On your side, you could consider configure your own Excel table in OneDrive folder based on the Business Data structure, then replace the pre-loaded Business Data data source in your app with your own Excel table.

    Best regards,

    @v-xida-msft

    Thank you very much for your help.

    It was enlightening and gave me more insight under the hood of powerapps.

    Unfortunately I am still not able to create the excel files that I need to facilitate the servicedesk app.

    If you were to know where I could find them it would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards Spark
