Conditionally set entity field to specific text value?

I want to create a column that holds a text value based on another column. For example, the Color field is manually set to "Blue", then my new field Color Group is "Cool color". The new field would hold specific conditions for each expected Color value with a default/catch all.

I tried setting up a calculated column but it seems I can't set the new field value to a straight string value, it must hold some type of calculation. Am I missing how to do this with a calculated column? Or is there some other way I can accomplish this? I would like this to be manged automatically in CDS rather going down the Power Automate route if possible.

I have the same question (0)
