How to show a category in a Sharepoint column ?

Hi,

.

I have users who ask me to define a list of best practices regarding the use of Teams

At first I started to state good practices in a Word document but I realized that it was becoming difficult to read

I figured making a Powerapps app would be more fun to use.

So I create a Sharepoint list with 2 columns

The 1st is as a category and it lists different categories as

Notifications
Conversations
etc...

and the second column corresponds to good practices.

Here's a screenshot of the sharepoint list (unfinished)

shp list.pngThen I create an Apps containing 2 screens.
1 home screen that displays different categories like this

Apps 2.png

And I would like on my 2nd screen to appear only the good practices of the selected category.

Currently I have this display

not category.png

Also, if you have a tip to attach an image to a sharepoint list?

when I ask to see the associated good practice and that contains an image, I <Div>that appears instead of the image in the app

Looking forward to reading you

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    So you have a second gallery that will only show ‘Bon Pratique’ items when the Categorie is chosen from the first gallery. Your list name is ‘Bon Pratiques’. You have not given the name of the first gallery - Replace Gallery1 with your name if it is different.
    The Items property of the second galleries should be

    Filter(
     'Bon Pratiques',
     Categorie = Gallery1.Selected.Categorie
    )

    This will then only show the list of ‘Bon Pratique’ items belonging to the selected Categorie.

    The first screen is only a Home page. I don't  have gallery on it.

    I want to see on the second screen, only notifications recordings from the column categories.

    My gallery name is gallery1

    I try with this formula

    Filter('Bonnes pratiques'; "notifications" in categories) but not working

    and neither with your formula 😞

    I have change the column name to remove spaces

    Hi @Anonymous

    Do you mean filter the gallery based on the choices field?

    please try this, modify the Items property of Gallery as below.

    Filter('Bonnes pratiques'; categories.Value ="notifications" )

     Sik

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Sorry for the delay, however I think I have my mind around your requirements now. In your first post, you said

    I would like on my 2nd screen to appear only the good practices of the selected category You have two buttons Les Notifications and Les Publications.

    So you have the Categorie list which contains a field with a value Les Notifications (the first button), so if you pushed this one, you could set a Variable

    Set(vChoice,"Les Notifications")

    Then on the Filter of the gallery

    Filter(
     'Bonnes Pratiques'
     Categorie = vChoice
    )

    This would display all the records of Categorie Les Notifications.

    You would do the same with Les Publications.
