Hi

I have a sollution built on microsoft accsess that has linked tables to dataverse

i am using this method provided by microsoft

Import or link to Dataverse tables - Microsoft Support

My issue is that if i run report on accsess first time when opening this accsess aplication it takes ages to open it and if i run second time(not closing the app) all is ok. If the table is huge it is almost unusable(takes like 10 minutes to open)

Did anybody encounter something like this and maybe you know the "cure" for this behaviour?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @jja,
    No I haven't, but I also didn't use this extensively. One common reason though is your machine or the user's machine. Did you check if CPU or memory is running high? If all looks ok, I would suggest to submit a Microsoft ticket at: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support
    Good luck!

    @EricRegnier

    I noticed when i launch this report to be generated Access strats collecting this data to PC memory little by litle and untill it is not fullt cashed report is not generated for user. Do you think this is a typical behaviour or some bug?

    I don't understand why it wont open records directly from dataverse

    I have this EXACT problem.  I have an Access front end with Dataverse back end.  I search for a name the first time and it takes about a solid minute to return 1 result...or 200 results doesn't matter.  Then if I try it again a moment later - the result return within seconds.  So frustrating.  I'm embarrassed to roll this out to our users with the caveat "Just accept the fact that your first search result will take an eternity to show up"

    Yes unfortunately i also didn't find the solution.

    What are you opening from accsess also some kind of report? maybe i could give some other advice from where you could open this data.

    In my case i print labels on zebra printers and i found this the best way to implement. If you need some simple reports maybe i can advice something
